Dear Barry [Wineaux MD],
I
just want to thankyou very much indeed for ensuring that the
wine was delivered safely on Monday, in time for me to hand it over
on Tuesday ready for the birthday on Wednesday!
It was
greeted with incredulity that I had managed to track it down in this
country, and also greeted with a great deal of pleasure too.
Last
evening a bottle of the 2005 was opened and he pronounced it
"stunning" and said I was to tell you how much he
appreciated your efforts on my behalf to give him such a happy
birthday surprise. He said it was every bit as good as the 2005
he tasted in NZ in March and he is thrilled to have his own supply.
He was very interested to have the 2006 as well and I told him that
you would appreciate feedback on that too. He says he certainly
will let you know, but he intends keeping it for a bit before he
samples it. I must say that I enjoyed the 2005 very much myself
too.

Monday, I hadn’t received the shipment when i sent the email
requesting a delivery status. The Cloudy Bay has arrived via your
courier who did slip a card through the door saying it was in the
garage as i had requested.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Just me being impatient.
