Verdejo
This is without doubt one of Spain ’s best green grapes and is challenging Albarino with a number of excellent whites from new, ambitious producers from Rueda. It can produce wines of richness and body and is often blended with more aromatic varieties like Sauvignon Blanc, as is the case with a fair few of the Spanish white wines. Very enjoyable, a little bit different and is excellent with food.
