World-class Grenache/Syrah blends typically come from either the Rhone Valley in France or Priorat in Catalonia. This Priorat called TOCS, is made by Mas Martinet under their Terres de Vidalba label and is one hell of a wine. We're talking a perfumed nose of dark fruit, cassis, spice and violets that gives so much pleasure on the palate. The fruit is vibrant and massively perfumed giving a lighter red and black berry flavour in the mouth and finishing very long with a touch of minerality. One of Catalonia's best wines - available in limited quantities only.
