Tempranillo
AKA: Ull de Llebre, Tinta del Pais,Tinto Fino, Tinta de Toro, Cencibel Aragonês and Tinta Roriz
Along with Garnarcha this is Spain's most important quality red variety, forming the backbone of Rioja and Ribera del Duero. Tempranillo is extremely flexible and is as comfortable in young juicy, early drinking red’s or rose’s as it is in the serious and very fine top red wines of Spain.
