This is a hand-crafted, medium to full-bodied, ruby red Chianti. Blending occurs after fermentation, with a small portion of the Merlot and Cabernet having spent a year in oak. The wine delivers the classic burnt cherry character with a little added richness and depth from the Cab and Merlot. Very well balanced, this is a soft and silky wine that is drinking very well.
