Nero D’Avola
This variety has it origins in Sicily and was not all that well known until recently. Often compared to Syrah, the grape produces a range of full-bodied red styles. Its easy drinking style, warm, rich fruit and ability to take oak very well has endeared it to a wide audience of drinkers and many have suggested it is a star in the making. Currently offers excellent value for money.
