Wineaux's notes Notes from the winery

Clean, crisp and really classy. This is living proof that good sauvignon can be found outside of the Loire and Marlborough. Zesty, mineral with a full fruit character - think grass and nettles coupled with stone fruit. Its not lean like French Sauvignon but equally not cloying or overly rich like some NZ, this falls somewhere inbetween but makes its own case for itself and certainly doesn't sit on the fence. Interesting, off the beaten path and well worth the discovering. From a top notch new producer looking to set the pace in Chile's growth as a wine nation.
